HOLIDAY CAMP

When school is out the YMCA offers a safe and fun place for your child to come to. On these days, care will be provided from 7am – 6pm. Children participate in group games, sports, activities, and arts & crafts.  Children should bring a lunch and 2 snacks daily.

SUMMER DAY CAMP

YMCA OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS summer day camp provides a safe, supportive environment for your child.The YMCA provides experiences to develop and nurture self-esteem in an inclusive environment. Activities include morning circle (singing and dancing), snack time, games, arts & crafts, indoor and/or outdoor play and occasional field trips. The YMCA develops character by teaching and demonstrating values. We use positive adult role models to teach the four basic values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

Qualified Staff

The YMCA child care staff must complete hours of training annually.They are also CPR and First Aid certified. Satisfactory background checks are required prior to employment for all staff.The YMCA program operates on a 1:15 staff to student ratio.

Ages 5-12 only

Registration begins March 25, 2013

Registration Fee: $30 Individual child, $50 Family registration

REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON- REFUNDABLE

SUMMER DAY CAMP RATES:

Members: $70 weekly  first child, $65 weekly each additional child

Non-members: $95 weekly first child, $90 weekly each additional child

CAMP DATES: Camp at YMCA will run for full days weekly  from June 10th – August 23rd.

YMCA  will be closed on July 4, 2013

CAMP  HOURS: 7 a.m. —6 p.m.

Reasonable affordable fees are offered to provide an opportunity for all children to participate.Our financial assistance sliding fee scale is available to families based on income level. Financial assistance availability is contingent on availability of funds.
